Many people don’t realize that Goodwill North Central Texas has a career school, the North Texas Institute for Career Development (NTI). We believe in empowering students by providing training and meaningful job skills to prepare for the workforce. NTI graduates receive career services including assistance in resume and cover letter preparation and interviewing skills, advice, and information on job leads in specific areas of training, as well as continuous and individual job placement assistance.
Through our medical front office assistant program, students earn national certifications that could qualify them for career opportunities as receptionist or office specialist. In our medical billing specialist program, students earn national certifications that could qualify them for career opportunities in medical office insurance, billing and claims. And through our COMP TIA: A+ and COMP TIA Network + programs, students earn national certifications that could qualify them for career opportunities in desktop support, computer repair, helpdesk, user support, and network support.
