Decorative Witches’ Brew DIY

It’s getting close to Halloween! Witches fill the walls, spiders cover the doors, cobwebs reside in the corners, and pumpkins sit on the floors. The table… has treats!

Here’s a quick and easy Halloween DIY you could make to spruce up your table décor, with bottles found at Goodwill!

Bottles

Any type of glass bottle can be used to store Witches items, all with a little creativity.

A decorative vinegar bottle, glass jar, and farmhouse style glass container with a large cork were perfect to transform into potions, stews and poison. These bottles ranged from $1.99 to $2.49 at Goodwill Altamesa.

Craft Items

Here’s a list of  items needed for this craft:

  • Cold Water
  • Food Coloring
  • Cotton Balls
  • Glitter
  • Feathers
  • Potion Labels (from Pinterest)
  • Liquid Glue Stick

All items to craft are available at your local dollar store!

Ingredients

Step 1. Pour cold water into the bottle

Step 2. Shred cotton balls to place into the bottle. This makes a perfect fog effect!

Step 3. Sprinkle some glitter for some extra magic.

Step 4. Add a few drops of food dye for coloring.

Step 5. Shake, or stir, and repeat!

Step 6. Cut out and glue labels. These are available on Goodwill North Central Texas’s Pinterest page under the Halloween Headquarters board!

There are countless free labels available to print.

Ready to Brew

All done! In just a few minutes, cobweb stew, poison, and black cat magic potion were ready to be used for the ultimate brew.

Add lights to the back of the bottles for an even more luminous effect and your table is set for the spookiest season!
