Goodwill is a non-profit leader in providing education, training and career services with people with disabilities and disadvantages, such as physical, mental or emotional disabilities; lack of education or work experience; and homelessness. Last year, Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth helped place thousands of people in jobs.
Individualized Plans
Goodwill's Employment Services focus on the needs of all who enter the program, so they might secure employment that meets their own goals. Assessment, pre-employment training, job search training, individualized placement assistance, job coaching, and retention assistance may be included in the individual's customized plan. Please direct all inquiries to John Jackson: jjackson@goodwillfw.org .
Janitorial Skills
In partnership with Goodwill's premier Janitorial Services, training is offered in janitorial skills. Graduates have the opportunity to work for Goodwill or for other employers in the community. Please direct all inquiries to Albert Smith: asmith@goodwillfw.org or call (817) 332-7866 ext. 2062.
Success Skills
Goodwill's paid work experience assists individuals in learning the skills to succeed in today's workforce. Through actual work experience and classroom instruction, individuals learn teamwork, attendance, attitude and appearance -- "soft skills" required by today's employers.
